Tangible Interface
With the increasing availability of open data for cities, it is now possible to visualize the vertical and horizontal urban evolution over time. However, a detailed study of cities requires multiple visualization techniques. One approach is to augment the 3D (or 4D) city models with semantic, thematic, and other domain-specific information. The cities can use such augmented mockups for facilitating discussions around projects and mediations.
