GreekTranscoder is a java library for converting Ancient Greek text from an encoding standard into another. Currently three standards are supported:

• Unicode (including a converter to combine diacritics)
• Beta Code which is used by two of the large ancient greek text repositories, namely TLG and Perseus. Both Perseus lowercase and TLG uppercase codes are supported (however, mixing both cases is not). All codes may not be supported at this time (especially non-character codes which are plentiful)
• BibleWorks code which is used by the corresponding software (the same restriction applies)

In addition, this library allows performing some operations on the text such as removing diacritics or uppercase letters.

GreekTranscoder is available under the GNU LGPL v3.
