LAMA

LAMA is a joint research unit of University Savoie Mont Blanc and CNRS (UMR 5127). Its main research areas are pure and applied mathematics and mathematics of computer science. It regroups about 25 permanent research professors, 6 full-time researchers and about 15 PhD students or postdoctoral students. The three members of the LAMA that are involved in the StableProxies project are part of the LIMD team, whose research focus lies on discrete mathematics for computer science. They have strong skills in digital geometry and topology, geometry processing, geometric algebra and discrete calculus, and take interest both in theoretical results and algorithmic aspects of these topics, as well as their diffusion in open source libraries. Pascal Romon, member of the Laboratoire d’Analyse et de Mathématiques Appliquées (University Gustave Eiffel), is an expert in calculus and applied geometry, and is formally attached to the LAMA partner.
