A few 3D figures made by volcompose (currently in developement) :

• Sphere : postscript (1.8M), gif (577k), for geomview (351k)
• mickey
• Mobius's Strip : postscript (208k), jpeg
• Catenoid : postscript (1.2M), gif (581k)
• Ellipsoid and cube : postscript : 1 (5.1M) 2 (5M), gif : 1 (587k) 2 (587k), for geomview (1013k)
• A rounded cube : postscript (208k), gif (577k)
• "Macédoine" : postscript (1.1M) , gif (577k)

With postsript files, you can see how the figures are built because on "old" computers voxels (3D pixels) are drawn very slowly in ghostview :-).

Volcompose is based on libvol (currently in developpement too)

All this stuff will be available in GNU licence at the end of January 2003 (I hope)
You can already download current work and try it but there is no support and no warranty at all !!
