The Vol Library
What is it ?
The vol library is a library to handle 3D-voxels files. It implements two
formats : a new format called "vol" and a raw format.
The vol library has been successfully compiled on :
- SunOS 5.8 on UltraSparc, gcc 2.9.x, gcc 3.x
- Linux, gcc 2.9.x, gcc 3.x
- Irix with gcc 2.9.x, but it should only work with GNU make
It should compile on other unices too.

If you install the vol library, you should also install the Vol tools which are useful to manipulate and convert vol files.
