Geometry

The Geometry theme explores all aspects of numerical geometry, from the acquisition to the analysis and synthesis of geometric data, whether in the form of meshes, point clouds or voxel grids. The methods employed range from algorithmic geometry to differential surface analysis, and are at the frontier between computer science and mathematics. The analyzed shapes can then be rendered or used as a basis for dynamic calculation. The aim of the Origami team’s thematic group meetings is to discuss algorithms or results developed within the team.
