Abstract

This work describes a system that merges expressive text-to-speech synthesis with gesture and facial animation synthesis for story telling purposes. Starting from an input text (a tale) tagged with emotional information, the system generates an audiovisual stream with the corresponding expressive photorealistic 3D avatar performance.
